Effect of Elevated Temperature
The UPVC remains stable under load to a temperature of approximately 75°c and is therefore satisfactory for use in soil or waste systems. Specialized Applications
The systems are more than adequate for normal domestic applications in low and multi-rise dwellings. There more Specialized Applications, such as tea-makers, autoclaves, hospital, industrial kitchens and laboratories are concerned, where prolonged discharges of liquids at elevated temperatures can occur.
Laying Instruction &Jointing Procedure
Clean the outside of the pipe’s spigot end and the inside of the sealing groove of the fitting. Apply the lubricant supplied by us uniformly to the spigot end, sealing ring and pass the spigot end into the socket containing sealing ring until fully home. Mark the position of the socket edge with the pencil or felt-tip pen on the pipe, then withdraws the pipe from the socket by approx.10mm (toward thermal expansion gap).
Spacing of Pipe Clips
With horizontal runs, the pipe clips should be spaced at intervals of no more than ten times the pipe. Vertical lines are spaced at intervals of one meter to maximum of two meters according to pipe diameter.
Advantages of CPVC Pipes and Fittings

Since degradation process in CPVC is Dehydrocholrination and not oxidation. The out door exposure of CPVC pipe and fittings to U.V. do not break polymer;Hence, it is not only being limited to a surface discoloration.
Fire Safety
CPVC does not support combustion. No flame dripping, low flame spread and low smoke generation.
Water Hammer
CPVC is much quieter than metal systems with much less water hammer.
Effect of Chlorine
CPVC is unaffected by the presence of chlorine in potable water supply unlike polyolefin which is affected by chlorine and hence break down of its polymer followed by potential leaks.
Low Thermal Expansion
CPVC has a low coefficient of thermal expansion hence reduces the amount of expanding when hot water is flowing, causing reduction in “l(fā)ooking of pipe”.
Easy, Cost Effective Installation
Easy to join by Solvent Cement, no need to use special tools. Installation is easy in tight, confined or inaccessible places. No. need for alternative material such as expensive brass fittings.
Low Thermal Conductivity
The low thermal Conductivity of CPVC reduces heat loss through the wall.
